Definitions of Alternative Fuels

B5: Diesel fuel consisting of 5% biodiesel
B20: Diesel fuel consisting of 20% biodiesel
CNG: Compressed Natural Gas
E10: Unleaded fuel consisting of 10% ethanol fuel
E85: Unleaded fuel consisting of 85% ethanol fuel
Hybrid: Use of more than one power source, typically fuel and battery electric
Hydrogen: Hydrogen gas through combustion or fuel cells
NEV (Neighborhood electric vehicles): Battery electric (30 mile range), speed limited (35-45 mph)
